Nothing new from already existing apps. Where are the new ideas hiding these days? It looks like you guys just copied and past features from an existing disposable phone number app. Disappointing.

I have use this app on my iPad and iPhone now I have two phone lines keep the good work up I recommend this if you want a second number or dont have a number and you want one I give this five stars

My family is in France, I live in US. They can call me and send me SMS on my French TextMe up number! I feel closer now! No need to have another plan or phone. Thanks!

This app is great Ive been using it ever since I got my iPod. with this new version when I try to call someone it doesnt work and I dont receive any calls from them either. I dont know if thats a glitch or something but thats just bothering me.

Fix some issues and performance improvements.

I like this app a lot, especially the capability to use separate numbers so easily. I "upgraded" from the previous TextMe app, which created some issues: First, the new app split up my conversations into two separate discussions with the same contact. So, everything Id previously sent was in one conversation, and everything received in another. A minor annoyance. Second, I noticed a big omission in that there are no time stamps on any messages. I cant tell when Ive sent or received anything! This is a showstopper in my opinion and needs to be fixed ASAP. The old TextMe app did this just fine, Im not sure how this was missed in the "new and improved" version. Other than those issues, I havent noticed anything annoying or unusual, but Ill update my review if I do.

This is overall a pretty good app, but is there any way to shut off all of the sounds in the app without shutting off sounds on my phone? If not please fix this!

I downloaded this app because they told me to because the TextMe app Ive used for 2 years suddenly started crashing. Its like going back to kindergarten! The interface is so basic and rudimentary. The orange screen is too big and ugly, the smileys are big and weird, there are no options to adjust anything, etc. The TextMe app was great until it started crashing as soon as I opened it. Im wondering if they are doing that to force you to this new app. Why? So they can eventually start charging for it. I also lost years of past conversations in my TextMe app that they say cant be recovered, even though my phone is backed up. Some of them are with my boyfriend who has now died. Im very unhappy about the whole thing - why cant they just leave a good thing alone!

Nice design. I dont like how there is no longer a settings section though. It only has options to change basic account settings, not features like the old app. For me all messages are split into my messages in one item and the recipients messages in another. I have hopes that this will all improve over the next week or so but overall this is a nice upgrade. Its nice that conversations finally sync between devices. Good work guys!

Ive been using this app for like 2 weeks now. & o absolutely love it! Ive tried other texting and calling apps and they dont work as well as this one!

its fun to use, more features than with your standard telephone, and I love calling my international friends with it!
